Broker's Comments
The Centaur is one of the most popular British yachts ever, about 2,500 having been built from 1969 to 1984. Centaurs are strongly built, offer excellent headroom and accommodation for their size, and sail well.
This example is somewhat of an enigma in that it appears to have slipped through the net. The interior is like new. There are none of the tell-tale scars of previous owners' fixtures and fittings, no modifications that didn't quite work. The exterior is just as clean and one is presented with a rarity, when talking of boats well into their thirties, a virgin. She does still need a degree of finishing off and fitting out, but, just how often do you get the opportunity of starting with a blank canvas?
