Broker's Comments
Yet again, we have a boat with an interesting past. Some of you, slightly older than myself, may recognise this boat. It was a featured boat within “Motor Boat & Yachting” in 1976 (there is a copy of the report with the boat).
The present owners purchased the boat in November 2005. The boat took nearly 5 months and over £25,000 to restore to its former glory. The work included replacing the old Tredmaster deck with Teak and extensive osmosis treatment by Osmotech. Replacement engines in 2002/3(they still look as shiny as the day they we unpacked).
This winter the owners had the old gas water heater removed and calorifier installed. At the same time, a Galvanic Isolator was fitted.
So why are they selling I hear you ask, well, I can definitely say that no one has ever said this to me before…. “my wife would like a bigger boat”, this was later clarified as wanting more living space rather than, as I was thinking, more power!
This boat has spent a lot of time cruising around the South Coast of England and Northern France, all very easy, so I’m told, with the colour plotter, auto-pilot and radar.
As with all good boat owners, there are files detailing all the work completed, instruction manuals and invoices.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
