Broker's Comments

A lively, rewarding to sail, centre boarder eminently suited to the drying harbours and channels of our local sailing grounds; although with her stub keel she requires her legs to dry out level, she would show a clean pair of heels to any similar sized bilge keeler. She has clearly been looked after by her past and present owners and is sadly back on the market after the very short tenure of her current owner due to infirmity and ill health. I can personally attest to the sailing qualities (and motor serviceability) of this yacht having helped deliver her under engine to her present marina berth and then sailed her a week or so ago in quite breezy conditions. She stood up well to full canvas remaining stiff and light on the helm in a F4 gusting 5+. She does however require reefing pennants to be fitted on her mains'l and this has now been done for the first reef @26/09/18.
NOTE: There is an upper basin berth available and included in the asking price, a major consideration for any local purchaser. This is paid up until 1/April/2019. Our dear vendor has finally made up his mind to 'swallow the anchor' after many decades of ownership of many vessels of all types!
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered and the 4HP Longshaft Mariner auxiliary seen in the photos is available by separate negotiation.
