The brief was easy.....Go to St Malo and exhibit Boatshed's talents at the Route du Rhum Ocean Race.....

Unfortunately the Boatshed Ketch, who normally attends such events as mother ship and transport vessel, had to divert to Plymouth for repairs and ended up weather bound this week. (She is safely under the watchful eye of the very nice team at Mayflower Marina)
No problem we thought, we can drive down.
This sounds fine until you consider that we needed to pack the Boatshed stand, Exhibition equipment, 1000 leaflets, 50 inch LED screen, a drone, big printed panels and a weeks camping gear plus 2 dogs into the tiny Boatshed van!
Fortunately thanks to a nice crew at the local Halfords in Gosport and a cool new roof rack we arrived safely in St Malo in the early hours.
Looking forward to the seeing the teams from various Boatshed offices in France later today,to help set up the stand and for a catch up over a glass of wine.

Remember we are in St Malo at the Route du Rhum Race Village for 10 days prior to the start of this famous ocean race.
Come see us on Stand 8010 in Hall 8.
