Broker's Comments

Boatshed Wales are delighted to offer for sale this Cobra 850.

Built in 1980 and designed by the highly regarded naval architect David Feltham, the Cobra 850 is a capable and comfortable family cruiser, well suited to coastal cruising and extended weekends afloat.

This particular example has remained in the same ownership for many years and has clearly benefited from regular use, ongoing maintenance, and attentive care.

Below decks, the boat offers a surprisingly spacious interior for her size. Accommodation includes a generous quarter berth, a forward-facing navigation station, and a linear galley equipped with an oven and stainless-steel sink. Opposite the galley is a well-proportioned saloon with comfortable seating, creating an inviting living space. The current owner has also fitted a front-loading refrigerator, enhancing onboard comfort for longer stays.

To port is the heads compartment, fitted with a manual sea toilet and washbasin, while forward is a private double cabin offering comfortable accommodation for owners and guests alike.

On deck, the boat is equipped with lines led aft, an autopilot, lazy jacks, and a sail bag, making her equally appealing to the single-handed sailor and those cruising with family or friends.

Currently berthed at Milford Marina, the berth may be available to the new owner by separate negotiation.

A clean and well-presented example of this popular cruiser. We warmly welcome all enquiries and viewing requests.
