Departs from Itchenor. Onboard there will be a general commentary about Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Thur 13 October High Tide Roosts at North Common and Gutner Point
10am / 2 hours
A stroll along North Common to look for migrant birds and an opportunity to transfer to the restricted access nature reserve at Gutner Point to view the high tide roost. Bring binoculars. No dogs. With Pete Potts, Hampshire County Council Ranger.

Sun 16 October Thorney Island Walk
10am / 5 hours
A 9 mile (14km) walk from Emsworth and around the shoreline of Thorney Island. Please note that the path is quite worn and uneven in places. Bring a packed lunch and snacks.

Tue 25 October Print-making for Families
10am / 2 hours
An introduction to print-making inspired by Chichester Harbour with Fran Davies, artist and Conservancy teacher with the aim of having a completed work to take home. All materials will be provided. Recommended minimum age 5 years and over. Materials and refreshments supplied.

Wed 26 October Little Cockles: Hedgehog Homes
10am / 2 hours
A fun session outdoors for families with children up to 5 years old. Today we will be exploring the oak woodland of Salterns Copse and the shoreline at Copperas Point. Bring a snack for a break and a small bucket for any finds. No dogs please. For very young ones a carry harness is recommended rather than a pushchair.
