Many thanks to all of you who came to see us at our new office at Birdham Pool Marina at the weekend. We were graced with some lovely sunshine and the rain stayed away completely.

This was the first inaugural Birdham Boat Show and we at Boatshed Chichester were joined by stands and representatives from Castle Marinas, our hosts, RBS Marine, the UK distributors for Rodman cruisers had a selection of Rodman boats to view. World Marine Partnership had their lovely Yarmouth 23 available and we at Boatshed Chichester had a broad selection of used boats available for visitors to view and not forgetting Force4 Chandlery who came along with a selection of their stock of all those things that us boaty types cannot live without.

The new Boatshed Chichester office, now established in “The Old Chandlery” at Birdham Pool was constantly busy throughout the weekend talking to customers old and new about the buying and selling of boats. We only seemed to get time to draw breath for a moment as the corks were pulled every day for “Fizz @ Five”.

Even apart from the boats Birdham Pool is located in such a beautiful part of Chichester Harbour. It is tranquil with the most stunning views all the way up to Goodwood racecourse on top of the South Downs behind Dell Quay or down the harbour towards Itchenor. One would be hard pushed to find a better place for a Sunday afternoon stroll.
