This week we'll be taking a look at the Maritima MT-31. Designed and built by Marítima Boats, a member of the ABYC, at their boatyard on the northern coast of Colombia, the MT-31 is built to last, using traditional hand laying techniques to achieve a strong and smooth hull.

The MT-31’s deep V hull has a wide 2.9m beam and features good volume up forward with a beautiful, flared bow section. These features combine to give significant on-board space, good directional stability at speed as well as a dry ride. The false transom and high gunnels making for a safe onboard experience as well as a comfortable surface to lean against when fighting big fish. The MT-31’s layout has struck a wonderful balance between functionality and comfort with congenial bow and stern seating areas allowing for relaxed entertaining.

Comfortable seating, a centre console with captain teak steps, a swimming platform, plenty of storage lockers and a teak floored heads compartment are features that make this boat practical whilst still feeling luxurious and stylish
