This boat has been viewed and photographed by Rupert of Boatshed Chichester. This delightfull classic Elkins designed cruiser causes some discussion amongst boatwatchers. She is a 'Carefree' and to prove it, the owner has spoken with the man who built her! She was converted below to make two more small berths in a forecabin and this does make better use of the space. This boat is perfectly suited for family sailing round the harbour or along the coast, alternatively she is more than capable of sailing much further if the whim took you. She doubtless would have been to France several times during her life and I'm sure turns as many heads there as she does here. She has a great character and is certainly worth a look.
